“Maganda yung role ko kasi ako yung hindi basta sumusunod sa norm ng millennials,” she says. “Malinis at mabait yung character ko rito and a good role model for young people.”
“I saw her in ‘Ang Babaeng Allergic sa Wifi’ and I liked her performance there, so I wrote the role she plays in ‘Dead Kids’ with her in mind,” says Direk Mik, who’s best known for the award-winning “Birdshot” now being shown on Netflix.

Sue herself has been a victim by bashers and haters who must live a very boring kind of existence, so they have the habit of putting down celebrities to put some excitement into their own lives. How did Sue cope with her online detractors who called her names?
“Sa totoo lang, if it’s just ordinary criticism, I don’t really mind, palalampasin ko na,” she says. “Pero kapag sobrang vicious na at grabe na ang dating, they’re bullying you, you have to put your foot down. Kaming mga artista, favorite target talaga kami ng cyber bullies. Basta galit na galit sila sa amin even if they don’t really know us. I really cannot understand where their anger on celebrities is coming from. Very bitter.”

Sue is thankful to Direk Mik and Quark Henares of Globe Studios for making her a part of a ground-breaking movie like “Dead Kids”.
“First time ko to work with them and also with most of my co-stars like Kelvin Miranda, Vance Larena, Khalil Ramos, Gabby Padilla, and Jan Silverio, so excited talaga ako working with new people,” she adds. “I’m really thankful na maganda ang naging pasok ng 2019 sa akin kasi kauumpisa pa lang ng taon, heto, may bagong movie na agad ako and it’s intended to be entered pa sa film festivals abroad.”
