JOHN LLOYD CRUZ seems to be a doting dad to his and Ellen Adarna’s son, Elias Modesto. His photos with their baby were posted on the internet while frolicking on a beach with friends in Cebu at the birthday celebration of character actor Mon Confiado.
Their pictures were seen in Mon’s Facebook account and it’s pretty obvious that JLC loves the boy very much. Netizens also noticed that he’s much leaner now, unlike before when he was a bit heftier and bulkier in the various romantic comedies and dramas he did.
As one fan commented: “Aba, gumanda ang katawan ni Lloydie. Nawala ang beer belly. And he looks happy. Pero sana, pagupit ka na, Lloydie. Di bagay sayo ang may balbas at sobrang long hair.”
Meantime, fans of JLC are wondering why Ellen Adarna wrote in her social media account that she did a two-week mental training abroad recently because she was “stuck in this black hole for almost three years.
"I was getting weaker mentally and emotionally, something had to be done. I can now finally say, after 3 years of struggling... I am no longer a prisoner in my own mind. Ahhhh!!! Freedom we meet again!”
It will be recalled that during those past three years, she shacked it up with John Lloyd Cruz in Cebu.
She now implies that those three years were hell for her and she felt like living in a black hole, so JLC’s fans counter her and say it’s actually him who was at the losing end and really lost a lot at the time they were together.
As one netizen says: “JLC is definitely the much bigger star between the two of them. Let’s face it, wala naman talagang career si Ellen. Supporting lang siya kay Lloydie sa sitcom nila noon sa ABS.
"So mas malaki ang naging kawalan kay JLC dahil iniwan nito ang career niya to be with her. Tapos, magsasalita ngayon si Ellen nang ganyan. Wake up, girl! Si JLC, pwedeng-pwede pang bumalik sa dating kasikatan niya. Pero ikaw, wala kang anumang career na babalikan.”
