THEIR LAST show, "Tayong Dalawa", was a phenomenal hit, so Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu are understandably nervous about their new one that starts tonight, "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo".
"We're praying na sana suportahan din ito nang husto ng viewers like 'Tayong Dalawa'," says Kim. "Very thankful din kami sa ABS kasi katatapos lang nun, heto, may kapalit agad."
What they can say about folks calling them Prince and Princess of Primetime Bida? "Siempre, thankful kami," says Gerald. "But we're not the only ones who'll carry our new show. Marami kaming sikat at magagaling na artistang kasama rito like Kris Aquino, Albert Martinez, Gabby Concepcion, Coco Martin, Jaclyn Jose, Gina Pareno, Maricar Reyes. We all collaborate to make it a really good show."
Aside from this, they also have a new movie, "Paano Na Kaya?", directed by "Tayong Dalawa" megman Ruel Bayani. "Talagang marami kaming dapat ipagpasalamat sa ABS at kay Lord," adds Gerald.
What were they gifts to each last Christmas? "He gave me a pink bike kasi I'm fond of biking around our village at ako naman, I gave him an LV wallet kasi nakita ko, sira-sira na yung wallet na ginagamit niya. I told him palitan niya yun but he said okay na raw yun so sabi ko, Ano ka ba? Nakikita ng ibang tao, ganyan yung wallet mo. So I gave him something na mas matibay at nilagyan ko ng lucky money pampaswerte."
Like Gerald who has his own house in Vista Real, Kim is also having her own house constructed. "Three-storeys din like Gerald's house. Pero matagal pa bago matapos. Hopefully, middle of this year matapos na kasi balak ko, dito na patirahin sa Manila yung mga kapatid ko sa Cebu."
