KRIS AQUINO was expectedly the centerpiece of "The Buzz" last Sunday explaining what happened to her when she went to the house of Mayen Austria last Wednesday. She denied she made a scene and reiterated that she and Mayen's mom had a peaceful conversation with each other. She's really in her best element when she's discussing her private life in the show, like what happened before during her messy breakup with Joey Marquez and the Hope Centeno episode with James. "I'm taking my two sons to my sister Pinky," she says, adding that she's concerned with their safety. "Baka sila ang balikan."
She said she's trying her best to make her marriage work. "Five years, we stayed together to prove na mahal ko si James, pero hindi puedeng ako lang ang nagmamahal, ako lang ang umiintindi. The ball is in his hands now. In my heart, I still want the marriage to work for the sake of Baby James who deserves to have a mother and a father. I'm thankful na pinakasalan niya ako. Pero kailangang ayusin muna namin ang isa't isa bago maging kami uli. Ako, I've said no to all kissing scenes and love scenes para hindi ako pagdudahan. Huwag mo rin ako bigyan ng dahilan para magduda. I'm really hoping and praying maayos sana namin ang lahat. But I need space muna kasi bugbog na bugbog na ako. Gusto ko namang mare-assure na mahal ako, nirerespeto ako at di ako niloloko. Yun lang."
Obviously, the issue has not ended yet. And with Kris so busy doing a teleserye ("Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo"), a nightly showbiz program (SNN), "The Buzz" and the forthcoming "Pilipinas Got Talent", it's apparent her career is her priority and all this would certainly take its toll on her marriage.
