KRIS BERNAL is no longer that emaciated. "I followed the advice to eat more kaya heto, I've gained weight at di na masyadong humpak ang cheeks ko," she says.
She's more shapely now. Looks like she'll follow in the footsteps of another Starstruck winner, Jackie Rice, who's the current cover of FHM. "As of now, hindi pa. But basta hindi ako nagsasalita ng patapos. It'll all depend sa GMA bosses as they manage my career. If they say it's time for me to do a sexy pictorial, okay lang with me. But as of now, wholesome ang projection sa'kin in our new show, 'The Last Prince'."
How do they feel that they're up against the show of their rival love team, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson?
"Kami ni Aljur, flattered na pinantapat kami sa kanila and we're really doing our best para naman mapaganda ang aming show. But we admit, malayo na sila sa amin. We're just praying makuha rin namin ang success that their love team is now enjoying."
Doesn't Aljur find the heavy prosthetic makeup applied on his face cumbersome? "Naku, dusa talaga yun. But I can't do anything kasi kailangan talagang papangitin ako as Prince Almiro. What usually happens nga, nakauwi na ang lahat after the taping and I'm the last to go home kasi kailangan munang bakbakin ang make up sa mukha for about two hours. Sabi ko nga, kaya pala akong 'The Last Prince', kasi I'm always to last one to go home."
