RAYVER CRUZ laughs off the rumor that he and Sarah Geronimo are on but they're keeping it a secret so as not to make Sarah's parents mad. "I really don't know how such speculation started," he says. "Malabong mangyaring mag-on kami dahil hindi pa naman ako pormal na nanliligaw man lang sa kanya. And if ever we'd be on, I'd never agree to hide it kasi siempre, magiging proud ako sa kanya. Ayoko noong itinatago ang isang relasyon. Pangit yun. As of now, walang dapat isekreto sa mommy niya dahil hindi talaga kami. Kaya huwag nang ipilit na kami na. Nahihiya nga ako kay Sarah at baka iniisip nilang ako nagkakalat na secretly on kami."
Rayver leaves his teeny bopper days and plays his first mature role as one of the two leading men of Bangs Garcia in ABS-CBN's "Magkano ang Iyong Dangal". He plays Troy, a young businessman who's the secret admirer of Carmela (Bangs). "I'm glad ABS trusted me with this role," says Rayver. "Nakilala ako as child actor and dancer na part ng Anime. I think it's really time for me to spread my wings as an actor who can do more daring roles."
