TWO OF THE most nervous Starstruck V Survivors are balikbayans Nina Kodaka from Japan and Ian Batherson from Guam. They've both been nominated twice and just one more and they're automatically out. If there'd be two eliminations tonight, then they might just be it.
Nina really works hard on her Tagalog to be able to speak it fluently. "13 ako when I first came to Manila at noon pa, nag-aral na ko ng Tagalog," she says. "Gusto ko talaga mag-artista as I love watching movies."
People tell her she's too slow so she's trying her best to be more energetic in public. "Ayoko isipin nila lalambot-lambot ako. When I speak in Tagalog or English, doon ako mabagal. But when I speak in Japanese, mabilis ako. Before I auditioned for Starstruck, I worked in a computer shop and I help design houses."
Her edge is that she has a lot of fans, just like Sandara Park before who's Korean. This is also the case of Ian. The council members give him low votes but he's always saved by text votes as he has lots of loyal fans who like his mestizo good looks.
