BALIKBAYAN from Guam Ian Batherson was eliminated from Starstruck V last Sunday. It was his third time to be nominated and, according to Factor 1, someone who gets nominated for the third time would automatically have to go. The other two survivors who were in the bottom three were Rocco Nacino and Steven Silva. Two survivors were supposed to be eliminated that night but Rocco and Steven were spared since it's also Ian who got the lowest number of votes from viewers that night.
Earlier, all the remaining survivors did musical numbers and the most impressive for us is Sarah Lahbati and her French rendition of an upbeat version of "La Vie en Rose". They were also assigned to interview other GMA stars. Ian interviewed Kyla and asked: "Bakit di pa kayo pakasal ni Rich Alvarez?" Kyla said: "Hindi pa niya ako inaalok, e." Steven interviewd Jay-R about girlfriend Krissa Mae. Diva Montelaba interviewed Frencheska Farr about her starring role in Chito Rono's "Emir". Sarah interviewed Iwa Moto about her tattoo. Iwa said it's not her boyfriend Mickey whose name is tattooed on her arm but that of her sister. "They have the same names kasi," she said.
Rocco interviewed Kris Lawrence who said it's not true he and Katrina Halili are on again. Nina interviewed Sheena Halili who said it's not true Rainier Castillo is courting her anew. "Love team lang kami sa 'Full House'," she added. Enzo asked Paolo Avelino about LJ Reyes and Paolo said: "Wala akong dapat aminin kasi hindi talaga kami." The day before, the survivors also hosted the Chika-Pica portion of "Startalk" and, in our opinion, the best among them are Rocco, Enzo and Sarah.
