Paolo Bediones gets his first major assignment in TV 5

PAOLO BEDIONES gets his first major assignment in his new home TV 5 anchoring the live presidential debate “Pagbabago 2010: The TV5 and PPCRV Presidential Forum,” which will be held at the Miriam College Auditorium on tonight and will be telecast on TV5 at 9:30 p.m. Organized by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), in cooperation with TV5 News and Public Affairs, Paolo and co-host Anna de Villa-Singson will draw out leadership ideas and political platforms from all 10 presidential aspirants. “That part of the job appeals to me. I’ve always enjoyed debating and discussing issues,” says Paolo.

The forum audience (composed of the general public as well as representatives from the media, business, religious and diplomatic sectors) and TV viewers at home will have the opportunity to get to know all 10 contenders as they go through four strictly-timed levels of debate, including Candidate vs. Candidate, Candidate vs. Panel of Experts, Candidate vs. Sectoral Groups, and the Final Statement. Each presidentiable’s final statement will give a foretaste of their governance style and their planned initial projects as President of the country. All10 candidates confirmed their attendance, making Pagbabago 2010 a rare opportunity for the public to see Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, Vitaliano Acosta, Councilor JC de los Reyes, Former Pres.
