Accoustic Sessions with Aiza, Princess and Juris

AIZA SEGUERRA and Juris will be joined by a new singer, Princess, in their concert at SM North Edsa's Skydome on April 16, 8 PM. And who's Princess? Her family name is Velasco and she's the former girlfriend of Herbert who had an affair with Hayden Kho. She zoomed to fame with her acoustic version of "Single Ladies" in her debut album "Addicted to Acoustic". She plays the guitar well and is really quite a looker so we're not surprised that she caused the rift between Hayden and his own best friend.

As for Aiza, she tells us her album released in Singapore by a company there called S2S is doing very well. "I'm now doing another album to be released in Japan and China," she says. "I'm studying their language kasi I'll include Japanese and Chinese songs in it. Mahirap to introduce yourself to another country kasi parang nagsisimula ako uli, di gaya rito na kilala na ko as a child star. But it's a great opportunity for me and I feel proud as a Filipino."

Since she's a proud Pinoy, will she be willing to sing the national anthem in Pacquiao's next fight? "I'd love to do it to honor our country but it's scary kasi laging may mga kritikong namimintas. Look at what happened to Arnel Pineda. I think he did a good job na lumabas ang emotions niya pagbirit niya sa dulo, pero mas mabuti siguro, yung National Historica Institute na lang ang pumili ng kung sinong gusto nilang pakantahin nang hindi na sila nagrereklamo."

"Acoustic Sessions with Aiza, Princess and Juris" is produced by Viva Concerts and presented by Mang Inasal. For tickets ranging from P1,000 to P1,500, call SM Ticketnet at 911-5555.
