SIX OF Annabelle Rama's wards in her Royal Era Entertainment signed exclusive 3-year contracts with GMA-7 that guarantee them of having two projects each year: her own son Raymond Gutierrez, TJ Trinidad, Ehra Madrigal, Bubbles Paraiso, Ynna Asistio and Michelle Madrigal who's absent as she's busy taping for "First Time". All of them already have existing shows. Raymond is in "Showbiz Central" and will also be in "Party Pilipinas". TJ and Ynna are in "Diva", Ehra is in "Diz Iz It", while Bubbles is in "The Last Prince". One ward is missing, JC De Vera.
"Kasama si JC sa kaso ko against Wilma Galvante," says Annabelle. "Witness ko siya, so it's difficult for him to work with GMA. Actually, ayaw niyang umalis sa GMA. Umiyak nga siya, pero wala naman siyang magagawa kasi yun din ang gusto ng mommy niya."
Present at the contract signing are GMA bigwigs Atty. Felipe Gozon, Jimmy Duavit and Anette Gozon-Abrogar.
Atty. Abrogar said she realized "Mahirap piliting mag-stay sa'min si JC kasi iba ang level ng problema niya, so we have to let him go."
She's in charge of GMA Films and they have several projects for this year. About to be shown in April is the co-prod with Viva Films, "Working Girls", topbilled by Ruffa Gutierrez, Eugene Domingo and Cristine Reyes. Then they have a Dingdong Dantes-Marian Rivera rom-com, "You To Me Are Everything", slated for a June release. This will be followed by the Richard Gutierrez, Anne Curtis and Claudine Barretto starrer, "In Your Eyes", in July. Also in the planning stage are two comedies, one starring VIc Sotto and another one with Ogie Alcasid and Michael V after their hit "Angelina and Yaya" movie.
