Bong Revilla's Panday sequel on the works

SEN. BONG REVILLA'S whole family was present in full force at the dinner hosted for him by Mother Lily, including kids Bryan, Jolo, Inah, Gianna, Franz and Ram, son in law Vince del Rosario and grandkids Gab (son of Jolo) and Alexa (daughter of Inah). Mother Lily introduced Bong and revealed that when she first met him, he was just a teener who went to Regal because he has a crush on Maricel Soriano, but Mother Lily introduced Lani Mercado to him later and the rest, as they say, is history. Lani said next year, they'll be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. Although he's numero among senatoriables in the surveys, Bong doesn't want to be overconfident. "Anywhere I got, grabe talaga reception ng tao sa'kin. But I don't want to take things for granted kaya I'm really thankful to Mother Lily for hosting this dinner with the press for me."

Lani is also number one in the surveys for 2nd district of Bacoor representative. "She's getting 60% and our real goal is to turn Bacoor into a city for it to get more benefits."

So what happens now to the sequel of his hit "Ang Panday"? "The script is being written now but if ever, I can only shoot after the election na kasi siempre, priority ko muna ang campaign. Ganun din sa GMA-7, they want me to return to hosting 'Kap's Amazing Stories' right after the election. Wala akong kontrata sa GMA but I'm more than satisfied sa care and attention nila sa akin so mananatili akong Kapuso. Meron din akong isang movie na gagawin with Vic Sotto, pero pinag-aaralan pa kung kailan namin magagawa ito."

As senator, Bong is happy he was able to help in proposing legislative measures that promote safety and protection of the public with a comprehensive road safety bill, supported the establishment of a disaster management council, the completion of vital infrastructure projects to attract more direct foreign investments, the passage of the New Labor Code for the protection of various labor sectors, helping the local movie industy out of its dormant state, and giving more support and incentives for youth empowerment.
