Carl Guevarra says Daiana Menezes did not dump him

CARL GUEVARRA is elated to play the lead in his first show with GMA-7 after he moved from ABS-CBN where he was the Be Bench winner. "Thankful akong pinagkatiwaalan nila ako agad ng role na bida ako kaya sobrang masaya ako," he says. "Ngayon lang ako nabigyan ng ganito kagandang role na stalker ako ng taong mahal ko."

He's not stalking Jennica but Jef Gaitan, his girlfriend who dumped him for Marvin Kiefer. Since this is a summer offering in "Dear Friend", expect the stars to don skimpy and revealing outfits in the show. "Okay lang sa'kin to appear shirtless kasi nag-workout talaga ako ng husto to prepare for that," he adds. "I'm also happy na lahat sila rito, they welcomed me with open arms kahit galing ako sa kabilang network. Naging friends kaming lahat sa taping. Sana mag-click ang team up namin ni Jen para masundan pa ito."

Is it true ex-GF Daiana Menezes dumped him? "Nag-usap kami, it's a mutual decision na mas mabuting tumutok muna kami sa aming career kasi pareho pa lang kaming nag-uumpisa kaya mas ito ang dapat naming bigyan ng atensiyon."

Now managed by Perry Lansigan, how does he feel now that Daiana is linked to Shivaker? "Okay lang sa'kin. But sinabi na ni Daiana, di raw totoo yun."
