Dermablend gets Gerald Anderson as endorser

GERALD ANDERSON is turning 21 on March 7, so at his launch as the new endorser of Dermablend Guava Tea Tree Soap, a birthday cake was presented to him and everyone sang him the birthday song. Aside from this, ABS-CBN Star Magic is also hosting a birthday lunch exclusively for him. "I really want my birthday celebration to be simple," he says. "Hindi naman ako mahilig sa bonggang parties. But I will definitely visit the Cancer Warrior Foundation patients to share my blessings with them. This has been a tradition for me since I joined showbiz. Kasi when I was still in PBB in 2006, they visited us inside Kuya's house and I pledged them that after I came out, I'll be visiting them tuwing birthday ko as my way of giving back."

Dermablend is his 16th endorsement. Is he replacing Sam Milby and Daiana Meneses as Dermablend models? "No, he's just an addition to our family," says Harriet Gabeyron, Dermablend operations manager. "Sam is plugging our papaya orange soap and Daiana is for our Diana Stalder products. We chose Gerald as he's young, athletic, always on the go, and the Guava Tea Tree soap is perfect for active people like him as it's germicidal and perfect for personal hygience and skin care. Very safe too as it's botanical and natural."

"I tried it first before agreeing to endorse it at maganda talaga siya," says Gerald. "Hindi ako mapapahiya and I bring it now sa shooting or when I work out, perfect to use when I shower as I want to be always clean."
