Jean Garcia gets one of the loudest cheers in FHM party

SHE MAY BE over 40 but Jean Garcia still got one of the loudest cheers at the recent FHM party for the top 25 women of the decade. This is not surprising since the issue where she was the cover girl was sold out. "Nakakatuwa naman dahil sabi nila, hot pa rin daw ako," she laughs. "I'm not really expecting it kasi alam ng lahat na may anak na kong dalaga, na nag-aartista rin at magkasama pa kami sa 'Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita' which is rating very well. Flattered talaga akong naseseksihan pa sila sa'kin at my age."

Jean's acting in "Ina" as Alvina is getting good feedback, particularly in that episode where her son Rav (Dion Ignacio) is shot and is pronounced brain dead in the hospital. She can't accept it and keeps on saying Rav will still wake up and get well. But the doctor insisted he's just kept alive by life-support systems and is as good as dead. She decides to remove the machines on Rav despite daughter Rizzi's (Jennica Garcia) opposition. This is indeed a heartrending scene. The gap between mom and daughter widens.
