Mark Herras admits to courting Ynna Asistio

MARK HERRAS was the guest of John Lapus in 'Sweet Talk' on 'Showbiz Central' and he welcomes being paired with Ynna Asistio in "Diva" as this means they'd be seeing more of each other. How come they haven't admitted they're on? "At this point kasi, wala pa naman kaming dapat aminin," he says. "I admit nanliligaw ako sa kanya, I'm a good friend of their whole family, but we're not officially on yet. Hindi ko rin minamadali kasi bata pa siya at di pa ready sa seryosong relasyon."

In "Diva", Mark plays Smith, Regine Velasquez' younger brother who's good in dancing. At first, he's infatuated with Glaiza de Castro, who spurns him so he gets closer to Ynna. How come he accepted the role which is more of a supporting one when he already did lead roles in previous soaps? "It's a good show, first kantaserye in local TV and rom-com siya, di dramahan at iyakan like 'Ikaw Sana', my last soap. Nakakapagod na rin yun so I really welcome this show where I also get to do song and dance numbers. Happy rin ako to be acting with Ms. Regine. Actually, second time ko na to work with Ynna. First time was in 'Mga Mata ni Anghelita' na 15 pa lang siya. Ang prayer ko lang, sana tanggapin din ng tao ang tambalan namin ni Ynna. Kasi yung fans ng love team ko with Jennylyn (Mercado), gusto sa kanya lang ako pinapareha. Si Jen din naman, si Dennis Trillo ang kapareha sa soap niya ngayon, di ba? We both should grow at di puro kaming dalawa na lang lagi."
