Richard Gutierrez looking forward to host survivor

THE GUTIERREZ Family hosted a thanksgiving mass and dinner at Mother Lily's Century Imperial last Friday night. "Last year, maraming trials, but this year, puro positive naman ang dumating so we really should be thankful," says family matriarch Annabelle Rama. "Naayos ang gap ni Richard with PEP and now, the case of reckless imprudence filed against him was dismissed by DOJ. Si Ruffa naman got custody of her daughters, a very good deal from TV 5, may bagong movie na 'Working Girls' at kinuha pang endorser ng Nokia Ovi Maps. Si Raymond naman and my other talents just signed a three-year contract with GMA-7."

And how does Richard feel about the junking of the case against him? "I feel relieved, it's time to move on," he says. "We're really offering to help my late assistant Nomar's family. I don't know nga kung bakit dinaan pa sa korte."

What's in store for him after "Full House"? "I'm doing the drama movie with Claudine Barretto and Anne Curtis to be filmed in L.A. We're now doing workshops under Direk Laurice Guillen and Mac Alejandre. After the movie, I'll be doing an environmental show like 'Planet Philippines' once a month. For the coming Earth Day next month, we'll have a big concert at Mall of Asia with several bands. We'll ask various environmental groups to join us to foster awareness about ecological problems. In June, I will leave again to host 'Survivor Philippines Celebrity Edition'. We'll stay in a yet undisclosed island for 40 days. We're now interviewing stars who want to join the celebrity edition."

Would he last in an island that long? "I think kaya ko naman. Ever since, enjoy ako sa campings, nature-tripping, so I'm really looking forward to host 'Survivor'."

And he's also joining the new Sunday show, "Party Pilipinas"? "Yes, kami ni Raymond. It's time for stars of the entire network to unite again every Sunday at noontime. I'll be doing some hosting and also, musical numbers."
