JC DE VERA'S contract with GMA-7 is expiring on March 14 and there's talk he and his manager Annabelle Rama are not renewing and he'll instead move over to TV 5. One thing sure is that a new cast member will be joining "Panday Kids", rising GMA star Paulo Avelino. But he won't be playing the same character that JC does, Aureus. He'll play a totally different role. This means Paolo will have two soaps. He's also seen daily in the afternoon drama, "Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita", as Jennica Garcia's love interest. Looks like it's true that after Aljur Abrenica, he's the next young actor to be built up by GMA. Paulo didn't win in Startstruck Batch 4. But look at him now. He has an even better career than winner Mart Escudero. So Enzo Pineda and Rocco Nacino need not worry. Folks predict they'd even be more popular than Starstruck winner Steven Silva.
