TV 5 offers Korean Novelas at noontime

INSTEAD OF offering musical variety shows at noontime, the energized TV 5 will show four hit Koreanovelas in their noontime block called "Gusto Ko Noon". "My Wife is a Superwoman", 11:45 AM, won 7 top awards at the MBC Drama Awards in Korea last year. It's about smart housewives who compete with each other through the positions of their husbands in the office in their desire for a glamorous life in high society. "First Wives Club", 12:30 noon, is about women who sacrifice their lives for their family, only to find out that their husband are cheating. It stars Kim Hye Sun of "Jewel in the Palace", Kim Hae Sook of "Winter Sonata" and "Spring Waltz", and beauty queen Oh Hyun Kyung.

"Smile, Honey", 1:15 PM, is a heartwarming drama starring Lee Min Jung of "Boys Over Flowers" and Lee Cheon Hee of "Only You". Lee plays a rich girl whose family goes bankrupt and becomes poor. The romance "High Kick", 1:45 PM, stars cute Korean actors Jeong Il Woo and Kim Hye Seong as brothers with distinct personalities. Also in the cast are Kim Bum of "Boys Over Flowers, Na Moon He of "Kim Sam Soon" and Lee Soon Jae of "Queen Seon Duk". They'll start airing on April 4, after Holy Week.
