    Yasmien Kurdi visits dad in Kuwait

    YASMIEN KURDI was interviewed in "Showbiz Central" by John Lapus in his "Sweet Talk" segment. She's just been to Kuwait. Is the trip a gift from her boyfriend who's said to be a flight attendant? "No, I spent for it," she says. "I went there to visit my dad and relatives. Eight years na kong di nakauwi roon. And the guy is not my boyfriend. Close friend lang."

    John failed to ask her why she doesn't have any show now on GMA now when she starred in several hit teleseryes before. She was not even asked how she feels about the transfer of JC De Vera, her ka-love team in several shows, to TV 5. But she now has a water-refilling business in Diliman and is also busy with her college studies at New Era College. So these might be the reasons why she's not keen on having a showbiz career anymore.
