Aljur Abrenica gets throat infection

ALJUR ABRENICA wasn't able to tape for "The Last Prince" for several days after he got a throat infection and lost his voice. As soon as he got it back, he was made to tape again and all the scenes he shot on that day were quickly edited and shown the very same night. "Hindi puedeng pabayaan ang show lalo so we can maintain our high ratings," he says. "Lalo ngayon, mas gumanda ang takbo ng kuwento dahil nagkaroon ako ng bagong rival in Carl Guevara as Jerrick."

Kris Bernal as Lara loses all her memory of Almiro (Aljur) because of the witch Bawana (Bianca King). All her memories are put inside a ring that is worn by a fake Lara (Bawana in disguise) who Almiro takes to their kingdom in the sky, Paladino. Meantime, Lara and Jerrick are held captive by Uruja, who wants to cook and eat them, just like Hansel and Grethel in the fairy tale. They manage to escape and by chance, Lara sees Almiro as he goes hunting, but she doesn't recognize him anymore so Almiro is so surprised.
