Later, Sony Music and GMA Records said full album na ire-release ko. Dream ko talaga to have an album nang sumali ako sa Startstruck. I think marami akong naging fans dahil sa singing ko during the contest and later, sa 'SOP' kunsaan nahasa ako nang husto. I also sang in church at sa bar namin ng family ko in Batangas."
His album has five songs: the Latin-flavored first single "Sayang Sayang" which has a music video shot at the luxurious Thunderbird Resorts, his revival of Michael V's "Kailan Kaya", Introvoys' "Di Na Ako Aasa Pa", Fra Lippo Lippi's "Beauty and Madness", and "Iisa sa Magkabilang Mundo". Aljur's voice is radio-friendly so the minus one versions of all his songs are included in the album to enable listeners to sing with them. Before the release of his album, Aljur has made his presence felt in the concert circuit, guesting in La Diva at Music Museum and doing his first solo gig, "I'm Yours", at Zirkoh T. Morato.
How come it's said he's now regularly dating Bianca King who plays the villain Bawana in "The Last Prince"? "Talaga? The only time I saw Bianca was when I attended the premiere night of her movie, 'Working Girls'. I've worked with her sa 'Dyesebel' and 'Last Prince" but we didn't even become close friends. So I don't know how come we're now being linked."
