GMA Stars active on QTV 11

GMA ARTIST CENTER's talents remain very active not only on GMA shows but also its sister station, Q Channel 11. Long-running shows "The Sweet Life" and "Day Off" have held on to its hosts, Korean Grace Lee and comedian Mike "Pekto" Nacua, for several years now.

Grace Lee joined the team of "The Sweet Life" in March of 2007; and she's been part of the show, which has been awarded Best Lifestyle Show in the 8th Gawad Tangkaw for three years. Pekto has been with "Day Off" since its inception, and it is one of the few remaining pioneer shows of Q still on the air.

During the height of popularity of Q's now-defunct "Ka-Toque", GMAAC signed up two of the show's chefs: Rosebud Benitez and Niño Logarta. And by working hand-in-hand with the Q network, their personal cooking shows were developed for the two. Chef Rosebud's "Quickfire" has been airing for two years now, and has had three DVD releases already. Chef Niño has starred in two seasons of his kid-oriented cooking show "Daddylicious", before moving to his current sitcom-style cooking show "Sarap at Home".

Award-winning actress Iza Calzado already has a history with Q, previously hosting the now-defunct, but also award-winning, Public Affairs program "At Your Service, Star Power". Now, Iza rejoins the Q family as she co-hosts the network's newest cooking show, "Healthy Cravings", which the actress describes as a "vegetarian's cooking show." Also new in Q's programming slate are "True Stories" and "Tropang Potchi", both shows which also feature GMAAC talents. "True Stories" is a program built around stories of love and sacrifice meant to inspire Q's viewers. And who better to inspire than GMAAC's very own Survivor Philippines castaway Jace Flores who joins main host Vicky Morales in the program. "Tropang Potchi" is a kid-oriented program.. Joining the cast of the program is kid-actor Miggy Jimenez who fits in perfectly with his variety of interests that range from acting to cooking. In the world of entertainment, and infotainment, GMA Artist Center always strives to find the perfect show for its talents, and provides the best talent fit for the show.
