Jay-R says Krissa remains loyal to him

JAY-R SAYS he's not at all worried that his girlfriend Krissa Mae Kleiner might be snatched away from him by Julio Iglesias who she joined in a concert world tour. "He treats her daw like a daughter so I have no problem with that," he says. "We skype each other regularly sa internet. She says Mr. Iglesias really treats her well. But I do miss her very much. When she returns here, she'll be busy naman training para sa Miss International pageant."

Did he really request GMA-7 to get him as host of "Take Me Out"? "No, I didn't even know there's such a show. Nangyari lang ito and I'm so proud that GMA gave me this opportunity. Seven years na ako sa 'SOP' and now, 'Party Pilipinas'. Siguro they saw how loyal I am so they now give me my own show to host."

Did he formally train in hosting to prepare for the show? "No. They just gave me DVDs of the show's various versions abroad and I saw how the hosts in other countries approach it. Pero siempre, I give it my own treatment para di sabihing nanggagaya lang ako."

There are 30 beautiful female contestants in "Take Me Out" that now airs on GMA at 5:30 PM. Hasn't anyone taken his fancy? As they say, when the cat is away, the mouse will play. "Sorry but I don't play. I'm in love with Krissa and she took my heart with her. I miss her everyday. We get along well as we have lots of things in common. She also sings and likes my music."
