Kris Bernal ecstatic over show

KRIS BERNAL is ecstatic that her show with Aljur Abrenica, "The Last Prince", is rating very well so GMA-7 is extending it until July. But she's also sad as, after this, she and Aljur will be paired with other partners. She'll be doing "Love Bug" with Daniel Matsunaga in Singapore while Aljur will be paired with Rhian Ramos in the action-fantasy, "Odessa". "Siempre, kabado ko kasi first time naming magkakahiwalay," she says. "After 'Starstruck', ang dami na naming pinagsamahang shows at pinagdaanang experiences together. But we also welcome the idea of being paired with other stars as we have to grow as actors also. Yun nga lang, nagagalit ang fans namin, saying they'll miss our love team, so I tell them it's for our own good at huwag nilang awayin yung mga bagong kapareha namin kundi suportahan na lang. I think maganda nga yung ma-miss din naman nila kaming magkasama."

In "The Last Prince", after Daniel, she now figures in a love triangle with Aljur and Carl Guevarra who plays Jerrick. How will she compare Daniel with Carl? "Matagal ko nakasama si Daniel at sobrang bait niya, marunong makisama. Si Carl, ganun din pero masyadong tahimik. Mas comfortable ako kay Daniel."

After she was linked with Carlo Aquino, she's now being linked to singer Jay Perillo. "Yung sa'min ni Carlo, di naman talaga totoo kaya tahimik na. I haven't seen him for a long time. Si Jay naman, nagulat ako when I saw him sa bahay namin sa Don Antonio. Sabi ko, he looks familiar. Yun pala, taga-GMA din nga siya. Friend siya ng brother kong si Miguel and he's not even courting me."

What can she say about Aljur now being linked to Bianca King who plays the witch Bawana in "The Last Prince"?

"Ha? First time I heard about it. Wala akong alam diyan. Di ko naman sila nakikitang laging nag-uusap o sweet sa isa't isa. And I'm sure Aljur will tell me kung type nga niyang ligawan si Bianca. E, kung sinu-sino naman ang nali-link dun, di ba? Meron pang apo raw ng may-ari ng SM na dinenay naman niya. Basta ang friendship namin ni Aljur, malalim na ang inabot. I'm sure he'd inform kung may liligawan siyang iba."
