Mark Bautista confident about sexuality

MARK BAUTISTA was grilled in the Intriga Crossfire segment of "Showbiz Central". It's obvious GMA-7 is giving him importance as he was also given ample exposure in "Party Pilipinas", unlike in "ASAP" where he's just one of those. He was asked in "Showbiz Central" if really had a short lived affair with one of its hosts, Rufa Mae Quinto. He said it started when they worked together in his concert, but Rufa Mae quickly clarified that it didn't blossom because Mark left. All they had was "bonggang-bonggang" friendship and it was with Erik Santos that Rufa Mae went steady for a time.

He said his transfer to GMA was the decision of Viva, who's managing him. "They discussed it with me and I felt it'll really be for the good of my career so heto, nandito na ako and I'm glad everyone in GMA welcomed me warmly," he says.

Asked who among the GMA actresses he's interested in, he mentioned Iza Calzado who he says is also a friend. About rumors implying he is gay because of his closeness to ABS actors like Piolo Pascual, said to be the reason why Viva transferred him to GMA, Mark says: "As long as you are confident about yourself and your sexuality, I think there is no need for you to worry. Ako naman, pinapabayaan ko na lang ang mga lumalabas. Siguro nag-e-enjoy sila sa ginagawa nila, so pabayaan na lang natin sila."
