REGINE VELASQUEZ turns 40 on Thursday, April 22, and she has reason to celebrate as her primetime kantaserye, "Diva", is soaring high in the ratings. She's taking a one-week vacation from taping and she'll go to Bohol with inamorato Ogie Alcasid and her own family. The "Diva" cast and crew gave her a special birthday party on the set and she celebrated it along with her fans. Because of the show's high ratings, it's telecast will be extended for one month. More guest stars are lined up to do cameos in the show, including Richard Gutierrez, April Boy, Andrew E. and Dr. Vicki Belo as the cosmetic surgeon who will make the ugly Sampaguita (Regine's character) turn into a beautiful swan. And what's Regine's birthday wish? "Wala na, kasi lahat naman ng pinagdasal ko, ibinigay na," she says. "Dapat na magpasalamat na lang ako nang walang patumangga. As thanksgiving to our viewers, we'll have a contest in 'Diva' and those who'll text the correct answers will get free tickets and cottage at 8 Waves Resort."
