Vilma Santos a hands on governor

BATANGAS GOV. VILMA Santos personally visits all 34 towns of their province to find out what their needs are. "This is part of my hands-on approach as governor," she says.

She's sad that her rivals seem bent on doing a demolition job to discredit her. "But ultimately, it's the people who'll decide kung may nagawa ba ako para sa kanila o wala. I mean, ano ba yan? Three parties merged to destroy me and they have all the money to do this, kasama na yung partidong kinukuha ako noon to run as vice president for them. Now, Taal Lake is on its way to recovery at mas maraming Batangueno ang makikinabang dito."

Mother Lily says she cannot imagine Batangas without Vilma. "She has done so much for the province kaya nga I was encouraged to put up Taal Imperial Palace Resort dahil sa improvements na ginawa niya."
