XLR8 with a catchy carrier single "Your're so Hot"

PHILIPPINE POP music gets a big shot in the arm with the newest boy group from Viva called XLR8, compose of 8 appealing teenage guys: Kiko, Aki, Caleb, twins MM and MJ, Arkin, AJ and Carlo. All of them can sing and dance exceptionally well. Viva's aim is to make them the next big thing in the local music scene and, later, like those Korean boy groups, also internationally. People think their name is dervied from "exhilarate" but they say it's actually for "accelerate", which means to go or move faster. That's exactly what XLR8 is all about, zooming up the race in the music scene with their innate talent, wholesome good looks and undeniable charisma.

They've just released their self-titled debut album and its upbeat and catchy carrier single, "You're So Hot", is not getting massive airplay in various radio stations. Its music video has also captured the attention of viewers in various music channels.

Aside from "You're So Hot", other attention-getting cuts from the album are "I Love You, Girl", "Ms Beautiful", and Dance With Me", all composed by the talented XLR8 member, MJ. For those who dig love songs, there are ballads that are worth swooning for, like "For You" and "I'll Be There".
