Angelica Panganiban reacts to issue on hand inside Derek's shorts

ANGELICA PANGANIBAN is a riot as a coy virgin whose body is possessed by a promiscuous gay beautician, John Lapus, in Chris Martinez' hilarious summer comedy "Here Comes the Bride", a co-prod between Star Cinema and Quantum Films of Atty. Joji Alonso who personally supervised the production of this movie that stars not only ABS talents but also GMA and TV5 stars like John, Eugene Domingo and Tuesday Vargas. Since she's the title-roler as the Bride, does this mean she also plans to be a blushing bride in real life soon with Derek Ramsay as her groom? "No, hindi pa nga nagpo-propose, e," she says. "We've kinda talked about it, pero hindi seryoso, asaran lang."

But is she sure Derek is Mr. Right? "Oo naman." What kind of wedding would she like to have? "Di ko pa pinag-iisipan. Pag sigurado na lang. But I want something simple and quiet. Baka sa sementeryo," she laughs.

Since she's going with Derek to South Africa on June 6 and they'll stay there for a month, someone asks the usual question thrown to stars going abroad: Baka pakakasal na kayo roon? "No, gusto ko rito, my family is here. As of now, bihira nga kami magkita as I'm busy with 'Rubi' and he's busy with 'Habang May Buhay'."

How did she feel when her private photo showing her hand inside Derek's shorts came out in a tabloid? "Hindi ako napikon. Mas nag-react si Mr. M ng Star Magic. Pero artista kami, e. So part ng work namin yun at reality yan ng showbiz. Sabi ng iba, magdemanda raw ako. Bakit? Di pinasikat ko pa sila. May iba pa raw pictures kami na di nila nailalabas kaya sa susunod, ako na lang mismo maglalabas ng private fotos namin para sa'kin na mismo galing."
