GMA-7 WON'T be airing "Diva" tonight and its regular Telebabad shows as they will be pre-empted by their 2010 Election coverage. Regular programming resumes on Tuesday night, which is also the last taping day of Regine Velasquez before she leaves with Ogie Alcasid for a series of shows abroad. Viewers will see the transformation of Glaiza de Castro as Tiffany. Because of her success as a singer, she becomes haughty and arrogant and starts maltreating Debbie (Pinoy Idol winner Gretchen Espina) who earlier took good care of her. Meantime, the ugly Sampaguita (Regine) sees her dad, Elvis (Boboy Garovillo), at the orphanage where she stays, Tahanang Walang Haligi, where he's invited as guest speaker. Sam is teary eyed but her dad won't recognize her as her face is covered by bandages. but Elvis tells Sam's mom, Paula (Gloria Diaz), that the girl whose face is covered reminds him of Sam. As days pass, Sam is slowly turning beautiful with the help of cosmetic surgery and you should watch out for her return as the beautiful and talented singer, Melody.
