ALSO A PART of the Brazilian invasion of local showbiz is Fabio Ide, now a co-host of Eugene Domingo and Allan K in "Comedy Bar" tonight at 11 PM and also plays the role of Dingdong Dantes' friend who cheats him with his girlfriend, Isabel Oli, in the hit rom-com "You to Me Are Everything". He's also in the comedy "D'Survivors". Born on December 26, 1984 in Sao Paolo to a Brazilian mom and a Japanese dad, he was taking up marketing when he forayed into international modeling. He first came to Manila in 2005. "I'd come and go, now I decided to stay because the people here are mabait po, friendly, and hospitable," he says. "I'm Catholic also and the weather here is also like at home. I've lived in China, Singapore, Hongkong and Tokyo, but I like Philippines the best."
Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2006 Lia Ramos was his girlfriend of three years. "We broke up recently lang. It's sad."
Who's the handsomest betweeen him, Daniel Matsunaga and Akihiro Sato? "I don't know. We're all good looking and they're both my friends."
How does it feel being in "Comedy Bar"? "Sobrang masaya ako. Eugene and Allan are both fun to work with from beginning to end of each show. Mabait sila. Sana magtagal ang show namin po kasi enjoy ako."
