One of GMA-7's prized properties, Iza also shone in an anti-heroine role in the recent soap, "Kaya Kong Abutin ang Langit". She's now plays Mariang Sinukuan in "Panday Kids" and hosts Q Channel 11's cooking show "Healthy Cravings". It's obvious she lost a lot of weight and looks so sexy in her new slim figure. "I really worked hard for this through a lot of diet and exercise kaya I'm really glad pag napapansing mas payat na ako. From size 6 down to size 4 at lumiit pati balakang ko."
Her inspiration is her own BF Atticus King, a fitness buff. "He's an inspiration not only physically but also emotionally and intellectually. He's very supportive and really wants to see me grow and improve as a person."
Her friend Sunshine Dizon has just gotten married. Has she and Atticus also talked about walking down the aisle? "Ay, no! No! Wala munang ganun. We'll take our time muna. I'm starting a new soap in June, marami pang trabaho.
How did she feel when the Hollywood film she did, "The Echo", was not shown in theaters but went directly to video? "Sobrang sad ako, but I felt even more sad for Direk Yam Laranas kasi baby niya yun. Sayang nga, we were affected by the U.S. recession dahil more than 1,000 movies daw were waiting for release then."
