'THE LAST PRINCE' WILL end in July and GMA-7 is now planning the next projects of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal. Aljur will be paired with Rhian Ramos but the project they're supposed to do, the action-drama "Odessa", has been changed. They will now do a straight drama and it will be a love triangle as Jackie Rice will be included in the cast. As for Kris, the earlier plan was to pair her with Daniel Matsunaga since viewers noticed them together when Daniel guested as the wolfman in "Last Prince". But since Daniel will now be busy in "Langit sa Piling Mo" with Heart Evangelista, GMA is now considering pairing Kris with Rocco Nacino, whose "Gumapang Ka sa Lusak" will end in June. Kris and Rocco are now seen together and they're both very open saying they really want to work with each other. "Rocco really reminds me of Aljur," Kris even says.
But Rocco is not the only Starstruck V alumnus who's now active in TV dramas. Enzo Pineda has also started taping for "Diva" and he'll figure in a love triangle with Mark Herras and Ynna Asistio. Only the top winner among the males, Steven Silva, has not been given a teleserye. "E, hindi kasi siya fluent mag-Tagalog and hindi rin siya photogenic on screen," someone tells us. Well, they should have taken these things into consideration before they made him big winner.
