Matt Evans paired with Empress Schuck

MATT EVANS will now be seen at night with ka-love team Melissa Ricks in "Tanging Yaman" and in the early afternoon in the new ABS-CBN drama-thriller, "Rosalka", with Empress Schuck. How is it working with a show without his perennial partner? "Medyo nakakapanibago as I'm used to being with Melissa," he says. "But I hope kahit bago ang kasama ko rito, magustuhan pa rin ng viewers. I've worked with Empress before sa 'Underage' pero si Melissa pa rin ang katambal ko roon. This time, akong childhood friend niya. Dahil kuba siya at pangit pa, inaapi siya ng ibang tao and I defend her. Bilib ako kay Empress kasi mahirap yung kinakabit sa likod niya at prosthetics na pampapangit sa mukha pero tinitiis niya yun buong araw at magdamag hangga't di tapos ang taping."

What does Melissa say about his being paired with Empress? "Okay naman sa kanya kasi she was paired with others na rin naman, like kay Jolo Revilla sa 'Agimat'. It's for our own good na hindi kami lagi ang magkasama so we can also grow as individual actors at di laging love team na lang. As of now, medyo pagod ako kasi I report to the taping of two shows kaya hectic ang sked ko. But I'm not complaining, mas mabuti na yung maraming trabaho kaysa wala."

What can he say about the recent of photo of him circulated in the net kissing a girl? "That was taken about two years ago. She's just a good friend. Nasa cellfone kong ninakaw yun. I told about it sa friend ko kaya hindi na rin siya nagulat nang lumabas. Kawawa nga kasi private person siya't wala naman sa showbiz. As of now, wala talaga akong girlfriend. Career muna habang sunod-sunod ang dating ng trabaho."
