Stars with bitter pills

WHAT DO Cristine Reyes, Angel Locsin, Bianca King, Glaiza de Castro, Maxene Magalona and Bubbles Paraiso have in common? They're members of an informal group called Ampalaya Anonymous. Ampalaya is bitter and they're called as such as they're all reportedly bitter when it comes to their lovelife. But what are their reasons to be bitter?

Someone says Cristine still loves Dennis Trillo but he's now on with Jennylyn Mercado. Angel Locsin's relationship with past boyfriends either ended in tragedy (the late Miko Sotto) or turned sour (Oyo Sotto, Luis Manzano) and now she's only left with Chito of Parokya ni Edgar. Bianca King had a falling out with exes Patrick Garcia and Hale's Champ, now she's linked with Aljur and the fans of his love team with Kris resent it. Glaiza de Castro was wooed by Patrick then he suddenly stopped seeing her, leaving her dangling in the air. Maxene Magalona was lovey-dovey with JC Tiuseco but their relationship suddenly whent phffft. As for Bubbles, she and her non-showbiz BF just introduced Nancy Castiliogne to another friend. Nancy now has twins with that friend (and they're thinking of tying the knot) but Bubbles and BF broke up.

But Maxene says she's not bitter over JC. "It's a mutual decision na lagi na lang kami magkapareha so we should take a break for us to grow individually," she says.
