There’ll be singing and dancing for the participants in “Lolo and Lola Got Talent”, plus the coronation of the Carnival King and Queen in the Gandang Lolo/Lola Contest. We ask his image models what’s the secret of their youthful looks. “Love,” says Barbara. “And I enjoy being with my apos.” “Sex,” says Pilita, who’s the most married one among them (three times). “We should be happy and I can say that I’m now finally happy.” “I sleep a lot,” says Gloria. “Whenever I have a problem, I just sleep on it. And like Barbara, enjoy ako sa apo ko. Kung ano yung di ko nabigay sa anak ko, I give it to my grandson Cris even if he’s now 18 years old and in college at La Salle.”
Among the three, it’s Barbara who had the most apprehensions as to what Ricky would do with them. “Marami siyang bawal,” says Ricky. “Lahat ng ayaw niyang gawin ko, yun ang ginawa ko and when she saw her fotos later, she said, ‘I fell in love with myself’.”

JOSHUA DIONISIO is honest enough to admit that he had his first girlfriend when he was 13, Eliza Pineda, his co-star at ABS-CBN that time. “Pero parang puppy love lang, hindi tumagal at months lang kami as she focused on her studies,” he says.
What if GMA-7 would revive Eliza’s career and get her to form a love triangle with him and Barbie Forteza? “That’s a good idea kasi maganda rin si Eliza at mahusay umarte,” he concurs.
With “Pilyang Kerubin” ending this week, they’ll have no regular show for a while except “Party Pilipinas”. “Maninibago kaming wala kaming magdamagang taping kasi nasanay na rin kami.”

BILLY CRAWFORD celebrates his 25th year in showbiz with a concert series, “25 B.C.”, at the Music Museum on September 11, 18 and 25, Saturday. “I started as TV commercial model when I was 3 then joined ‘That’s Entertainment’,” he says. “Then I played the son of Jean Garcia in ‘Lost Command’, my first film, followed by ‘Pahiram ng Isang Umaga’ as Vilma Santos’ son. I did several films as a child star including ‘Pardina’ with Sheryl Cruz, ‘Huwag Mong Buhayin ang Bangkay’ with Jestoni Alarcon, ‘Sandakot na Bala’ with the late Rudy Fernandez, ‘Dino Dinero’ with Dolphy, and others. I left for the States when I was 12 then I was launched in France seven years ago where my album was a big hit and I was named Internaional Male Artist of the Year in 2003. I’m now back here enjoying local showbiz but I’m preparing a new album to be launched in Europe early next year. I’ve already recorded 7 songs and I need to record 7 more by September, my own compositions and also other writers like Jay-R and Kris Lawrence.”
Did he see his girlfriend Nikki Gil in “Legally Blonde”? “Yes, I saw it five times. She’s so good and I’m proud of her. She lost weight while doing it. So siguro I should also do a play to lose weight but the discipline of the theatre is not for me. Right now, I’m really working out to prepare for all the dancing I’d do in my concert. My director, Georcelle Dapat, has several earthshaking dance sequences for me do on stage.”
