Robin-Mariel To Wed Again On Christmas Day

THE LATEST DEVELOPMENT in the Robin Padilla-Mariel Rodriguez (that, this early, doomsayers predict won’t last very long since it’s off to a bad start) is that they will have another wedding, at a Catholic church this time, come Christmas Day. Robin himself announced this when they guested at the Dutdutan tattoo festival at World Trade Center last Saturday night. Robin declared: “Sa mismong araw ng Pasko dahil mahalagang araw iyan sa mga Kristiyano. Diyan imbitado kayong lahat. Mga Muslim, mga Ibaloi, lahat kayo.” Robin says he respects Mariel’s being a Catholic and won’t compel her to convert to Islam.

Meantime, Robin’s ex, Liezl Sicangco, continues to make her presence felt in their lives. She said the main reason why she chose to separate from Robin is his being an incorrigible womanizer. “Sumuko na ko,” she added. Wonder how Mariel feels about this. At least, she’s been properly warned by Liezl who’s also complaining that their son, Ali, returned to Australia with plenty of lice (kuto) in his hair and they have to kill them all first or he won’t be accepted in school there. She implies that Robin was negligent and Ali was not well taken care of that’s why his head is infested with lice.
