AS ‘ENDLESS LOVE’ ends this week, Bela Padilla is happy when informed that she’ll be part of the return of Captain Barbell. “Nakakatuwa dahil after working with Dingdong Dantes in ‘Endless Love’, heto’t I get the chance naman to work with Richard Gutierrez, puro top leading men ng GMA-7,” she says. “I heard I’ll play a superhero also pero makakalaban ni Richard. I’m excited to wear a costume and play a superhero also.”
Is it true a scene where she’ll have a final moment with Marian Rivera in “Endless Love” has been scrapped because, despite efforts of GMA-7 to patch things up with them, they’re still not in good terms? “Naku, wag na nating palakihin yan. Sa akin, tapos na yun. Decision na ng management kung anong gagawin sa show.”
But would she be willing to work with Marian again? “Why not? Sabi ko nga, a job is a job. I think may situation lang talaga noon na naging dahilan o mga taong ayaw talagang maging okay ang lahat sa’min.”
But would Marian be willing to work with her again? “I can’t answer that. Siya dapat ang tanungin nyo. But this week, patapos na ang ‘Endless Love’ so don’t miss the final episodes. Dingdong Dantes already discovfered that I’m just deceiving and I’m not really an invalid kaya palalasin niya ako. He wants to go back to Marian as Jenny but she has decided to join Dennis Trillo as Andrew to go to Manila para magpagamot. Dingdong doesn’t know that Marian has leukemia and is dying. But I’ll discover it ng makita ko siya sa ospital and she needs bone marrow transplant. It’s Dennis himself who informs Dingdong about Jenny’s condition.”
