Heart’s mom said “we have always been Heart’s main manager and have always been behind all her major decisions, projects and career moves.” This is not exactly true since there was a time when her whole family shunned Heart and this was when she defied them when she went crazy over Jericho Rosales. She only returned to her family after their breakup. Her career took a nosedive and for a while, the wife of Gary Valenciano managed her but failed to revive her ailing career. It was only Annabelle who succeeded in resuscitating it when she took Heart to GMA-7 and paired her with her son Richard Gutierrez in “Asero”. Obviously, this is not the end of it. Everyone knows Annabelle is mabuting kaibigan, masamang kaaway. In her Twitter account, she told Heart and her mom: “Pinagyayabang nila di sila nag-renew ng contract sa’kin. Sino tinakot nila? Day, stars come and go, pero kaming mga manager, nakatayo pa rin at nakataas ang noo. Alam kong ginamit lang nila ako. Go girl, good luck. Ha-ha-ha.”
Her son, Raymond, revealed in “Showbiz Central” that it was who introduced Heart to his mom after she told him she’s not doing anything with ABS. “It’s not true my mom is getting 30% commission,” he adds. “She gets only 15% as Heart’s mom gets the other 15%. There was no reason for her to be unhappy with my mom as she got good shows with GMA, also plenty of endorsements plus the film ’Mano Po 6’, for which she won a best supporting actress award. We tried to reach out to her to be part of mom’s birthday show at Crowne Plaza, but she backed out. Doon napuno ang mom ko kasi pati roon, hindi siya pinagbigyan.”
