BB. PILIPINAS-Universe 2009 Bianca Manalo was introduced in “Magkaribal”. She now plays the title role in ‘Pablo S. Gomez's Juanita Banana.’ “I’m so happy that ABS trusted me kahit baguhan lang ako,” she says. “The whole Juanita Banana team is very supportive kaya ‘di rin naging masyadong mahirap for me to adjust. Ang saya-saya namin sa set ng leading men ko, Rodjun Cruz and Matt Evans.”
Does it hurt when some folks say she is not deserving as there are other ABS talents who have been with the station longer and are more deserving to be launched? “It doesn’t, kasi opinion nila yun, but I believe lahat naman kami, may kanya-kanyang talent na bigay ni Lord. I just want to think I’m really blessed at na-proved ko naman as Gigi in ‘Magkaribal’ na kaya kong umarte kaya ABS gave me this project.”
“By nature kasi nakakatuwa si Bianca, so it’s really fun working with her,” says Matt.
