DOLPHY STILL VERY MUCH ALIVE NOT DYING

TWO OF DOLPHY’s sons are in “My Driver Sweet Lover”: Eric Quizon as director and Epi Quizon as a cast member. Is the rumor that their dad is now so weak and about to sign off true? “Exaggerated naman yung balita,” says Eric. “He did get sick of pneumonia kasi napagod sa shooting ng Metro filmfest entry niyang ‘Father Jejemon’, but he’s okay now at puede na nga uli mag-taping ng show niya sa TV5 na ‘Pidol’s Wonderland’. Our dad is 82, but we’re so thankful na malakas pa siya at kaya pang magtrabaho at his age.”

“Such stories about dad, hindi na bago,” says Epi. “Nabalita na rin yan before and our relatives abroad got worried, so sana, yung mga nagkakalat ng ganyang balita, huwag naman nila pangunahan at sila ang nagpaparating wrong information sa publiko. So ang advice ko lang sa mga tao, unless the news comes from us na mga anak mismo, wag na lang silang maniniwala at tiyak na tsismis lang yan.”
