GLAIZA DE CASTRO WON'T GO BACK TO CONTRAVIDA ROLES AGAIN AFTER GRAZILDA

A GMA ACTRESS says she wants to request Glaiza de Castro to be her contravida in her next project but Glaiza’s manager Manny Valera says she has already moved to a higher level and won’t be accepting villain roles anymore. GMA exec Redgie Magno agrees to this. Now that Glaiza has proven she can carry the lead role in a primetime show in “Grazilda”, there’s no way she’d revert back to playing contravida. “Sayang naman ang effort namin to build her up as a lead star kung made-demote uli siya,” she says, describing whast happened to Yasmien Kurdi who played lead roles before on primetime but is now relegated to being villain to Glaiza in “Grazilda”.

Glaiza is ecstatic over the high ratings “Grazilda” is getting. Last week, it got a high 14.6% in the AGB Mega-Manila ratings, while the rival Sarah Geronimo shot got a single digit rating of 9.1.% only. She wants to thank Jolina Magdangal for consenting to play her Fairy Godmother. “Sobrang bagay siya sa role and this week, she’ll give me a necklace that will give me magic powers and give me the chance to see my mom, Matilda, played by Rio Locsin, while my dad, Joel Torre, continues to search for me and he’ll see my while being hostaged by a robber.”
