GWEN ZAMORA is so lucky as stardom is given to her on a silver platter. She didn’t have to join an artista search at all where contestants work so hard to get into showbiz. On TV, she plays the plum role of Cinderella in the hit primetime show, “Grazilda”. “Tuloy ang story naming ni Prince Charming sa Fantasia at naaawa ako kina Rio Locsin and Djanine Cruz as Matilda and Anatalia kasi silang naaapi ngayon.” She also plays the new Faye, the leading lady of Vic Sotto in the GMA Films-MZet-APT Productions co-production, “Agimat ni Enteng”, an entry in the Metro-Manila Filmfest this December.
How does she feel when Vic Sotto said that she has the makings of a good actress and it’s just a matter of polishing it. “Of course, coming from him, I’m very much flattered,” says Gwen. “Kaya naman ginagawa ko rin ang lahat to make sure hindi ako mapahiya sa kanila, pati kay Director Tony Reyes. Mabait sila lahat sa’kin, including Ruby Rodriguez, Jose Manalo, Amy Perez who plays my mom Ina Magenta, at sina Aiza Seguerra and Oyo Sotto who play our kids ni Bossing Vic. Nag-kissing scene na rin kami ni Bossing. Very light lang, di torrid.”
Isn’t she worried Vic’s GF, Pia Guanio, might get jealous of her? “I met her in Showbiz Central and she’s very nice. No need to worry kasi wala namang dapat ipagselos sa akin. Having a lovelife is the least of my priorities right now.”
