AT THE ‘WHITE HOUSE’ presscon, Joem Bascon is asked who he’d like to take along if he joins a reality show that will require him to stay in a haunted house, like what happens in the movie. “Siempre, si Meryll,” he says. It’s obvious he doesn’t hide that he and Meryll Soriano are now playing beautiful music together. But he denies that they’re now leaving in. “I live in Mandaluyong and she lives in their home in Fairview, so magkaiba kami ng tirahan.”
Joem is very much “binata” while Meryll’s marriage to Bernard Palanca has yet to be officially annulled. He says he gets along fine with Meryll and Bernard’s son, Elijah. He’s happy to be reunited with Iza Calzado in “White House”. “Una kaming nagkasama sa ‘Batanes’ ng GMA Films where I played her sick husband,” he says. “Dito, we’re not related dahil si Iza ang kalaban naming lahat dito.
