AT ANNABELLE RAMA’S presscon for her birthday show, “Spotlight”, we talked to one of her newest talents at Royale Artists Management, Jon Hall, who’s just been ousted from “Survivor Philippines”. Jon did movies before for Regal. “But I was half-hearted about it,” he says. “I’m more serious this time. With the help of Tita Annabelle, I hope to get more work now.”
We tell Jon he looks so fierce and villainous in “Survivor”. “That’s because they need a villain there and I was the one who was made kontrabida,” he laughs. “Some of the footage on me are edited to make it appear I’m really a villain. And then I don’t even have eyebrows as I shaved them, so I looked even more weird. But okay lang, I joined ‘Survivor’ to win the game, not a Miss Congeniality title.”
Now, in “Showbiz Central”, he said he need not have been eliminated because he got an immunity bracelet. But he gave it to his girlfriend, Michelle Madrigal, and since he’s the one the nine remaining castaways think is the biggest threat to them, he’s the one they sent home. He also revealed his first assignment under Annabelle is the return of “Captain Barbell” starring Richard Gutierrez.
