ULA, ANG BATANG Gubat is now a mom. Yes, Judy Ann Santos, who first appeared as a child actress in the TV series “Ula”, gave birth to a healthy baby boy last Thursday, October 7, Feast of the Lady of the Holy Rosary. Her son, named Juan Luis Agoncillo nicknamed Lucho, was born by normal delivery at the Asian Hospital in Alabang 10 minutes before 6 PM. Juday’s mom, Mommy Carol Santos, said in an interview that she started experiencing labor pains at mid-morning and was admitted at the hospital at 11 AM. She labored for nearly 7 hours before the baby boy came out. In the recovery room, Juday was able to breastfeed her son for the first time. She plans to breastfeed him and to personally take care of him without the help of a nanny. “Gusto namin ni Ryan na namnamin nang husto ang pagiging magulang namin ni Lucho,” she said weeks before she gave birth. “Kaya kami mismo ang mag-aalaga sa kanya. Kami rin mismo ang naghanda ng kanyang nursery complete with his crib, nursing chair for me while I feed him, at cabinets for all his diapers until he’s 8 months old.”
