DIRECTOR JAY ALTAREJOS and scriptwriter Lex Bonife are noted for hit pink films like “Lalake sa Parola” (2007’s highest grossing digital film) and “Lihim ni Antonio” (that won four international awards). They now come up with “Laruang Lalake”, an expose on what goes on behind the camera in making a gay-oriented film as it portrays the people within the gay film industry and their personal stories. It’s about an ambitious probinsiyano actor Samuel (Arjay Carreon), an idealistic film staffer (Mark Fabillar) secretly in love with an actor, a gay producer (Mon Confiado) and a filmmaker on the brink of bankruptcy (Richard Quan). The film also features Frontal Nudity King Marco Morales, as a has been actor willing to do everything to revive his career.
