SEF CADAYONA was one of the early evictees from Starstruck V but he quickly got busy with assignments on GMA-7. He hosted a ”Startalk” segment with Starstruck alumni Jan Manual and Chariza Solomon then played villain to Mark Herras in “Diva”, did comedy in “I Laugh Sabado” and he’s now in “Ilumina” as best friend of Aljur Abrenica. He also gets to dance regularly in “Party Pilipinas”. “I feel so blessed na kahit natanggal ako agad sa Starstruck, di ako pinabayaan ng GMA,” he says. He wants to do more comedy and looks up to the Michael V.-Ogie Alcasid tandem for being quick-witted. He also kept tapes of Tito, Vic, and Joey’s comedy albums as inspiration. He even brought them in Eat Bulaga when he guested on the show to get Joey De Leon’s autograph. As a dancer, his idol is the late Michael Jackson. He’s also learning how to cope with the press. He had a recent unnerving experience with Abante’s Jojo Gabinete who told him “Hindi ka sisikat” because he’s been introduced to Jojo a couple of times and he still doesn’t know him. “Ang dami kasing writers, but I’m trying my best now to remember all of them,” he says.
