HOW IS IT working with Angel Locsin in “Imortal”? “Enjoy ako,” says John Lloyd Cruz. “She’s rich and she always treats the staff and crew kaya bibilib ka sa pagiging galante at generous niya. She makes sure lagi kayong busog sa taping.”
How does he find her personally? “She’s definitely one of our sexiest actresses now, which is not surprising dahil di ba twice na siyang nanalo sa FHM? But more than, it’s great working with her kasi, like me, she also takes her craft seriously to make sure mapapaganda ang trabaho namin sa ‘Imortal’.”
Is it true his relationship with Shaina Magdayao is currently shaky because of Ruffa Gutierrez? “No, it’s not true. Wala kaming pinag-aawayan. Matagal na kaming walang communication ni Ruffa. Wala na talaga. Natatawa nga kami as someone even reported Shaina installed a tracking device on my cellfone to find out where I am all the time. Di rin yun totoo.”
But in an interview with Ruffa, she sings a different tune. “Ibang sinasabi niya sa nangyayari sa totoong buhay. But for me, life goes on. He’s part of my past, he’s still a good friend. I have no issues whatsoever at hindi naman ikahahaba ng hair ko kung tumatawag pa siya o hindi. To me, it really doesn’t matter. If he said we’re not talking, maybe he has some issues that he has to cover up. Maybe he has things to protect and I respect that. He can say whatever he wants to say and his denials don’t really affect me.”
